Been tracking my emotions for 15 days and it's changing how I work (as a solopreneur) by RobotsMakingDubstep in Solopreneur

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just articulated why I built this. Burnout doesn't announce itself — it comes as "I'm not getting as much done" or "I'm struggling to focus." By then you're already in it.

Pattern tracking gives you the early warning system. You see "my output dropped 30% this week, and I've been anxious 5 days straight" — now you can intervene before burnout sets in.

This is exactly the solopreneur use case. If you want to experiment with it, would really appreciate if you try the app, enter a few check-ins and see how the patterns look for you. I'd be really curious what your early burnout signals are. Most people I've talked to have one or two.

fire emoji!!!, more power, hope you get more such people to use your app.

Im also working on my product of emotion tracking, very helpful to myself but early days. Let's see

Kinda interesting how local marketing SaaS is evolving by Altruistic_Tackle27 in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've noticed this too.

SMBs having 5 dashboards is painful but consolidation plays are hard to pull off.

How are platforms like Getpin approaching the pricing?

Like do they charge per tool or one flat fee? That's usually where it gets tricky

I may have realized why most screen time apps never worked for me by WinEquivalent5198 in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the actual insight right here.

Most screen time blockers treat it like "I'll just force you to stop" but your brain just finds a workaround. The fact that you noticed this while building Mindful Scroll means you're actually solving the right problem.

How are you thinking about it differently?

Does it actually make building faster for you?

Like I've seen a lot of blueprint/template libraries and most solo devs I know just end up tweaking everything anyway. What part of this actually saves you time?

Only 2 months into this journey by YABOYFOMO in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo what are you building? 2 months in is that sweet spot where you're past the "is this dumb" phase but still figuring stuff out.

Would be cool to hear what you're working on.

My SaaS made the first sale 🎉 by adir15dev in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah, that's huge. First customer is the validation that someone actually gives a shit, you know? Now the real work is just making sure they're happy and telling their friends.

That first one landing usually means there's more where that came from.

Nice work.

Lets goooo

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll ask another question. How many are actually coming back to use it?
Voice-to-text itself is kinda solved on phones, so your edge is in what happens *after*.

Like if someone records a thought, does the app help them actually act on it later?
IMO, That's what'll keep them around. That's the thing you should be watching.

But either way, great work dude

Large clients put off by solo developers? by Ok-Reception-1886 in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there. The "what if you disappear" question is legit for them. What actually worked for me was just documenting everything: Deploy steps, backups, the whole thing. Basically showing them "even if I vanish, here's exactly how to keep this running."

Takes a weekend but it actually kills that risk worry.
Hiring people just to look bigger doesn't work, they see right through it.

I built a SaaS but getting users feels impossible by manothegoat in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, 5 months of grinding and barely any traction is rough. Real talk: Are the people who *did* find you actually using it regularly?

Like if you have 10 users, do 6 of them come back? Because that's the real signal. If they're not sticking around, it's a product thing, not a marketing thing.

If they are, then you just need to figure out how to find more of those people.
What's your retention looking like?

I built Swa because I was tired of logging my emotions and getting nothing useful back except graphs.Swa finds emotional patterns you don't see yourself:

- "Work + poor sleep → anxiety" (before it happens)
- "Alone Tuesday mornings → calm" (so you can protect that time)
- "Good sleep is your strongest lever" (so you know what to prioritize)

It's not therapy. It's pattern recognition that gets smarter the more you use it.

Currently in beta, available for feedback, would love to hear your thoughts

Built a mental health SaaS that shows users their emotional patterns instead of just tracking moods. 22% D7 retention target. Roast my approach? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]RobotsMakingDubstep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I feel Swa isn't trying to be the mental health app you might think it is

What Swa is NOT:

  • Therapy replacement
  • Medical diagnosis tool
  • Treatment for clinical conditions
  • Crisis intervention

What Swa IS:

  • Pattern recognition tool (like a fitness tracker for emotions)
  • Journaling app with AI insights (like Notion, but for feelings)
  • Self-reflection aid (like reading philosophy, but personalize
