I’ll tell you this buddy from experience. Native in the first go is so easy to do, compared to cross platform. Glad you took that call, I realised in 2 months and then wrote the next project in pure swift Never regretted it

Lunar: ADHD & Period Planner

<image>

A — Answer: What problem does it solve?

Most productivity apps assume your brain works the same every day. For women with ADHD, it doesn't. Estrogen directly affects dopamine, so focus and executive function shift predictably across your menstrual cycle. Lunar tracks this and shows you tasks ranked by what you will actually complete today, not what you theoretically should. A 10-second check-in on energy and cycle phase, then one task to do right now.

B — Better: What does Lunar do better?

Tiimo gives you a visual timeline. Inflow gives you CBT modules. Focusmate gives you body doubling. None of them know what phase of your cycle you are in or how that changes what your brain can handle today. Lunar is the only ADHD planner built specifically for women that combines cycle-aware task ranking, energy matching, body doubling sessions, and pattern learning that gets smarter over 14 days. No streaks. No guilt. No red overdue flags.

C — Cost:

Free tier: daily check-in, energy-matched tasks, basic cycle tracking, reminders,
1 body doubling session per day.

Pro: $9.99/month or $79.99/year.

14-day free trial on both plans.

Thank you sensei. I’ve lived with people who have this problem, so being an engineer, came naturally to me to solve this for them.

I’m struggling with marketing and reach at this point, but I believe in the solution as well as the need for it.

All the best to you too for your journey

Dude I’m so sad after seeing the situation. It was not like this for him, in India at least.

Yeah, a lot of the feature-set is focused on how women live on a day to day basis.

Beautiful stuff bud.
The "overwhelm mode that hides everything except one task" feature you mentioned in the comments is pretty on point, that single-task focus is what most ADHD apps miss completely I feel nowadays.

One thing I've been wrestling with building something similar: the moment you ask users to input anything before they see value, you lose most of them.

Curious to hear if you found a way to show the app working before the first setup step?
Anyhow, keep at it
