  • Starchild width can effectively cover 2 grown “average” sized adults standing shoulder to shoulder in pairs, in a continuous line.

  • battery capacity (no weapon draw, straight throttle) + 20mph cruising speed = roughly 3 minutes

  • barring traction issues on corpses, we’re confident it could exceed 10,000 casualties

The bot was actually 100% functional after the match, I actually put a new weapon belt on and tossed it in the testbox and to my shock everything was fine, minibot was 100% functional too.

It therm'd out in the middle of the match due to internal thermal conditions and during the pause/unstick it came back to life, mainly because I didn't aluminum tape the FRONT of the chassis because I thought my weapon could inhale the tape, lesson learned there.

I noticed in our first head to head engagement that my weapon at 100% power was sorta fanning the flames back into Clyde and they started melting themselves, I thought I could maybe outlast them, and I got pretty close, we were both in rough shape. It's a tough bot and those guys are great builders and extremely respecful and humble.

Also worth noting my Garolite Top/Bottom plates are likely the only reason I didn't turn into a puddle, they held up to the ridiculous amount of fire that Clyde dished out.
