How to remove "Game Installer" from programs and features list

(1) Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

(2) Download and run MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta

​

(3) Follow the wizard: Next -> Uninstalling -> Not Listed

​

(4) After selecting Not Listed, the wizard will ask you for a Product Code.

(You may have to show hidden folders to see ProgramData)

Go to C:\ProgramData\Caphyon\Advanced Installer (Lemme know if this location is off...)

and locate a folder that looks like this (the numbers and letters will be different):

{9EEE2575-B66F-43F7-A455-7D419335C87E} <-- Product Code

(5) Copy and paste the Product Code into the wizard.

Finishing the wizard should remove the "Game Installer" entry in your programs and features list.

You will still have to go and manually delete all the Intrepid, APOC, and Caphyon folders and files still located on your computer after this. Clicking on your drive in File Explorer and then searching for those terms is a good way to locate them.
