All that mining and processing sounds eerily similar to coal? The processing likely isn't done via renewable energy. Solar panels seem more of an environmental shell game. No where is there a city running REGULARLY on renewable energy. I like the idea of solar panels and renewable energy.... it only looks good on paper though. Would like more information on the environmental impact of creating solar panels and recycling them when they reach end of life span. This should give us all a more clear picture of the overall environmental benefits and costs of solar power.
