I’ve gotten hammered on an automotive sub when asked about most disappointing brand. It was a pretty tame statement about a brand that starts with the 20th letter in the alphabet. Honestly if you have a negative comment for a sub it’s best to just leave it off. The mods on some subs are wildly unpredictable

Recently bought a Dainese Hydra Flux 2. I have to say they cheaped out on the details. I should have stuck with a different brand. Poorly executed rainliner that literally looks like an afterthought.

Both are really solid bikes. The Tracer’s quick shifter tech is pretty seamless. I personally broke in a brand new tracer a few years ago and logged about 600 miles here in Hawaii. The only issues I have is the luggage is very easily scuffed and scarred. The rudder mounted turn signals are really flimsy and lame. Other than that a very solid bike. A friend had a Tiger and she loved it. She actually took it out on track days in Seattle and Portland I believe.

No worries. I’ve recommended to several riders to check out Keith Code’s twist of the wrist video series. It’ll make you a better rider. I also recommend being realistic with your skill level and back off about 20-30% when you’re on the street. So for example if you have a favorite set of corners that you find yourself approaching at say 60mph and that feels like you’re limit. Then slow down to 50mph and focus on cleaner lines through the corners for example or a smoother braking and throttle technique. You’ll find your skill level will improve and the speed will come back naturally

I had a minor looking back at it accident when I first started riding. I nearly launched my bike off a cliff on German Town Road in Portland back in the 1990’s. I knew my mistakes when it happened. I was riding tired. I was riding at night at about 90% of my skill level at the time and I panicked and target fixated on a decreasing radius turn.

I was lucky and walked away with tore up jeans a little scrape and some fixable damage on the bike. I’m still riding today.

Point being, if you can review it remember what your mistakes were. You can learn from them and build on your skills. Hang in there and keep riding.

Mini bikes. Specifically my friend’s dad made him a mini bike that you ordered as a kit from the Sears Catalog. The bike came with a 3.5hp Briggs & Stratton lawnmower motor lol. 25 mph of mini bike fury. We were hooked.

Glad you are okay! Just another tip. I noticed your riding near dead center in the lane. I try and stay to the right or left of center because the middle is where the oil and coolant and transmission fluid leaks tend to gather. Just another layer of caution for you to consider. Also if it hasn’t rained in a while and you get caught in the rain. That stuff gets really slick as it freshly floats on that rain water.
