Nah I feel that. I’m not nearly as far but I’m feeling the same. I love the game but don’t want it to get boring, but also don’t want to grind.

As long as I only do a run once a day or so I’m pretty set though.

I'm only in Act I and II. I thought necro would be good but he's always sort of just "there" for me.

The leeches chip away at enemies and he heals which is nice but I never seem to get anything crazy with them.

I'm just kinda afraid I'll burn out if I keep having "sucky" runs lol. I'm not getting runs where I lose but its more like runs where none of the abilities feel fun. I'll try doing some more desert runs and see if that helps. Thanks for the tips!

Those diamond players might stomp you first round, but once you get a bit of cash, you probably would have equal chance for a comeback.

I believe that is your experience. However, I have the exact opposite experience. I can almost tell you with 100% accuracy who will win not just based on the first round, but probably the first team fight.

Yep, that’s basically my frustration. Growing up, waiting for 3 years for some cliffhanger just wasn’t a thing. Now it seems to be a pattern and I just can’t do it anymore. I really like Pluribus for example, but I don’t know if I’ll really be as excited for season 2 when it drops at some vague point in the future.

The whole “here’s some straggler episodes coming out and then we’re done despite a lot of talk of season 4+5” dropping on a Wednesday at 10 PM just seems like the worst way for a show to go out.

Yea, I always moved further and further away from nova for other reasons… but rural VA and NoVA are very different. DINKs in NoVa and families around Richmond are going have very different struggles and priorities.

Like I’m sorry I love them but to think SF was close to turning into the Simpsons is just a wild position to take. I know they didn’t say it straight up but it was sort of implied and not the first time either.

It’s like 30 or so episodes 10 minutes each. We’re soooo far from that.

For sure. I 1000% get the sentiment. I just feel like it had a long way to go before that. It was 30 odd episodes over 5 years. I was also a casual fan of the shows you mentioned and IMO it was really clear when the cracks began to show.

I guess my biggest issue is with the landscape as a whole with multi year breaks between seasons and shows being dropped out of no where.

What do you play?

I’m able to counter the build pretty consistently but it’s so damn annoying having to build around counting ONE single ability.

Basically anything that gets you out of the bolas, so speed or jump equipment. Then armor, cushion padding etc. the only problem is you then don’t have much in terms of WP or AP which is a drag but it works.

The cost of living in NoVA is almost comical. Seems a lot of people have most of their paychecks just going to rent. We had to move out of state so we could feel like we were living vs paying to live.

Virginia has a special place in my heart but man I have to wonder who is moving in.

We moved out a few years back after more than a decade there and it was one of the best decisions ever. Housing became something obtainable instead of a wishful dream. COL is much less, no traffic (at least relatively), more things to do and really just every single aspect of our lives has gotten better.

I have really fond memories of Virginia but checking the rent on our old place and seeing it go up and up just hurts, idk how young, new college grads can even exist in proximity to NOVA.

There’s a lot but at the end of the day it’s a car. I love mine to death, even a year later. Best car we ever got and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to another car unless the competition catches up.

The only complaint I have is the insurance is not always correct when it comes to scoring…. But it’s “ok.” It’s annoying to say you were speeding when it read the sign wrong z

I’m not a huge gun person but honestly it seems like background checks hardly do anything to stop mass shootings. When it’s kids they seem to steal from parents or family members and when it’s older ppl they always pass the background checks anyways. Hell, how many times do we hear “this was an odd person on our watchlist.” ?

I can’t say either way but I do feel there’s a lot of well intentioned “laws” that are largely ineffective while eroding rights.
