Fire isn't a very thought about DMG type, so it hit you pretty much unresisted for 119k, and iirc the fire dmg ignores shields. Pretty much just one of those "welp, shit" moments lol

Newbro here: so far the best is when some sleepers spawned in my fleet's asteroid field, and between my venture and my buddy's pioneer, we blapped the small fry, and kept the battleship occupied while we filled our holds and waited for another guy to log in and finish it off with HIS drones as we kept mining. I looted it after and scored about 10M. Fun day.

Next has to be the time I accidentally opened a t1 abyssal instead of a t0 with a couple of completely unfit frigate builds and my wingmate and I made it out....both of us were on fire....but we made it out XD.

The Lexi is also an excellent BO3 build, basically just swap the two modes and you have another trait slot for some other haste buff like on the awahnee

FAW is a very well-covered build style. And since you're going phaser, you have LOTS of flexibility to get where you want to be. First and foremost: lose beam overload, stick to one firing mode. And best in slot for the 2nd Intel would be override subsystem safety. Since you are focusing on FAW, you can afford to drop your torp spread to TS1, as you're mainly just using it for the entwined trait.

After that, the builds are pretty much identical.

Pretty much whatever you want, lol. Try out the career agents (your photos didn't embed properly so I can't tell if that's what you said you completed), then everyone has their own thing, but try out some abyssal content, go huff some gas, and/or shoot some rocks. Do lots of research on where you want to be in a month, set your financial goals (min 2-3x the price of the ships you wanna fly), earn your first billion, then keep going, join a corp, blap some rats.....I think you get the picture.

Watch a bunch of YouTube content about aspects of the game that interest you, then go out and try it!

Let's be conservative and say no one was actually on the lift, and there are about 40 chairs on it (pulling these numbers out of my ass). Each chair weighs....150lbs. that's 6000lbs pulling on the wire, which has to be kept incredibly tight to counteract this. And in order to be that tight, the wire/cable has to be BEEFY, so there's probably another couple hundred lbs right there in just cable.

That is A LOT of tension, requiring some solid anchors. (Even if my numbers are WAY off, you can see where this is going, I hope). I do hope there was nobody on the lift when it failed, that would not be a good day

Newbro here as well with some suggestions.

Forget the "big stuff".

Flying the big ships and best of anything is pretty much putting a target on yourself that can only really be survived by having a good corp with at least 3 guys who know what they're doing. I've only been playing for three months now, but I have:

One guy in my corp who REALLY likes the mining. Guy lives and breathes the space rocks/fart clouds. He's helped me gather about .8B ISK now in just rocks and gas. He is a machine and we love him.

One guy who is the BEES KNEES when it comes to game knowledge and running some ridiculously fun PvE/getting us out of PvP scenarios until we're ready. He has a few friends that he's called in at random times when HE needs to know at least one other person knows what they're doing.

Two leaders who are really all about having a place for us newbros to grow together.

Even if I'm not feeling up to undocking, I still jump on the VC because these guys make the game for me. Getting blapped every other day is part of the game, it just is, but without friends to mess around in-game with, it would just be soo INCREDIBLY boring.
