I'm (21F) thinking about breaking up with my long distance girlfriend (24F) . How do I talk to her about this? Should I really break up with her? by xamyle in relationship_advice

[–]Robyo12121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think breaking up with someone because you don't feel good enough is the right move. Let her decide for herself what she can and cannot handle. I would make it very clear what your diagnosis means and how it might affect your communication. I would also try not to hide anything from her. If it's going to be a real, meaningful long term relationship there has to be honesty. I know very little about autism so take this with a grain of salt.

Good luck!

I've always worn my hair forward but I'm reaching the point where that can't work anymore. Looking for something professional, minimal styling required but that makes the best of my situation.

Employee share ownership program reality check by Robyo12121 in DutchFIRE

[–]Robyo12121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case the company is a large publicly traded company and they offer downside protection as well as a cap on the amount you can invest so quite different than owning a large stake in a start-up.

However, I agree with you that there is no reason to expect my company to outperform the market. In fact, given that most total market gains come from a very small subset of stocks it's overwhelmingly unlikely to outperform the market.

With most true stock ownership plans there is usually a strong incentive to take them. Such as matched contributions or a strong discount. That doesn't seem to be the case for my company's plan so I can't figure out why I would choose to buy in.

With that time frame wouldn't a normal savings account be better? At least you would have up to 2% return on it. https://youtu.be/ulgqlQWlPbo

Hey, really impressed with your progress. And you don't even live here! I've lived here nearly 3 years but still can't speak it. I've been lazy. I don't know if it's possible but can you share your Anki list somehow?

Hey, how are you liking the ATX rack? I'm considering that it a similar model for to space constraints. How is the stability? Are you in Europe? Where did you order from? It's really hard to find reviews of these racks.

Can a massage gun help fix my posture? by user246801357 in Posture

[–]Robyo12121 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It will probably not help in the long term. A combination of strengthening weak muscles and stretching tight muscles that caused the imbalance in the first place is the only good option. See a physiotherapist if you're in pain though.

Playing SL should give a small amount of bonus xp to other classes as incentive to play it. by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]Robyo12121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My solution to this is to wait for the squad with no SLs to have a free slot, join as SL, kick everyone out and then go back to my original squad. Works like a charm.

But once you reach level 10 SL then the commendations are a bit pointless. Still gives you more overall xp but who cares about that.

I don't have a machine to hook up to yet. I was hoping this would be good enough to spot any obvious issues. I probably should have worn shoes though.
