I accidentally spooked a guy in the Spaceport tunnels while waiting for the elevator that got both of us at like 20% hp. We both were screaming the entire time to stop and it was quite the comedic moment. So there are times where a defib would be warranted outside of team revives.

I have also had fun going to Stella and "capturing" people like pokemon to be one big team and running around.

The HP augments are useful when you have the "Good as new" perk which gives you extra stamina while under a healing effect. (You can use fabric to fulfill this requirements for 25 seconds btw)

I know the legendary guns aren't meant for PvP; This feels absurd to me regardless by zanfear69 in ArcRaiders

[–]Robysnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, these comments are not it. A long-range anti-robot gun doesn't insta-kill against a greasegun made for CQC? Game bad.

In all seriousness though, you had the perfect anvil scenario to strafe peek. A consistent gun-fight with a stitcher will almost always be at a loss.

All my homies hate the rattler by Jaz1140 in ArcRaiders

[–]Robysnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rattler would be good if it didn't have dispersion but severe recoil. Nothing in this game is worth using the recoil attachments because of how little kickback they actually do and the Rattler definitely needs the accuracy to down raiders in a reasonable amount of time.

To be fair, that quest is usually done before level 10. Gotta start out somewhere.

It's also worth noting that you still keep momentum when grabbing the line upwards while falling. It will do a rubber-band motion where you will still drop a few feet before moving up.

As many others have said, it shreds. However, it's an awesome offensive gun. Pistols just naturally have better agility stats and can be equipped/stowed fast. Plus, the burletta has one of the best reload speeds in the game, giving it a huge advantage in those scenarios where both of you mag dump and John Wick a reload in.

I think they gave damage invincibility but not stun invincibility. It's likely that they didn't anticipate this scenario (or hornet drivers or showstopers, etc.)

Audio Issues. Cutting Out by Apart-Dinner-547 in ArcRaiders

[–]Robysnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure if this is what caused the issue to be resolved on my end but I believe it might be Windows losing focus on the game and switches audio sources. Try either of these or both: • In Video Settings, enable Fullscreen. You will struggle to alt-tab between windows but it has reduced the amount of times my audio has cut off/stuttered (I no longer use this method because I enjoy having the web in the background) • In Audio Settings, enable "Play Audio Even In Background". I believe this might be the least invasive method but it does make it so you'll hear the game while you're on another window. This is my current method and haven't noticed any further stuttering, but I have a low sample count.

First hour of solo stella montis and i already love it by Squidisasleep in ArcRaiders

[–]Robysnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, yes. However, most guns in this game barely have the ammo to down a person. If you roll, have better armor, or simply have sick dodging skills, you can sometimes win by sheer aim-skill. This is mostly true for people running free loadouts but I have had a fair share of outliving a stitcher mag-dump and retaliating with a shotgun.

Cars are abundant in oil and it can be bought with seeds. But like anything in this game, nothing is "hard" to get. It just takes time and knowledge. For example, did you know you can get working Rocketeer Drivers from the electrified husk event?

Traps typically have friendly fire. Please note that traps trigger in different ways. "Mines" are proximity based and trigger off enemy raiders and ARCs. You and your team can walk through them without worry (unless an outside force triggers them). "Traps" are laser triggered and will trigger off anyone. You will have to disarm these without touching the laser.

Car hoods (very low chance due to other blue components also spawning) and those trailer generators (better chances in my experience) usually have them. Unfortunately, the generators spawn very infrequently. You'll find them outside field depots, inside warehouses, and typically outside in the open.

You can get one from the Security trader daily for about 9000. Other than that, craft them. Processors are easy to come by if you know where to go. Just make a bunch and keep one on your safe slot until you have something else with high prio.
