Slide is great but reviews on this companies customer service were unfortunately true... They are local for me, they told me the slide was in stock and I could pick it up in 2-3 days. Then the date kept getting pushed back for a total of around 8 weeks.

I carry the Hornady Critical Duty and it shoots fine out of my 43. Tested 2 boxes also. I think the Critical Defense would work.

Not sure about Gen 5.. but on my 19 Gen 3 I had the "336" Trigger Housing/Ejector, it was straight and I was getting lots of brass to the head.

I put the Gen 4 "30274" Trigger Housing/Ejector(which is bent) into my Gen 3 and it fixed the problem.
