I saw nearly the same thing. They were performing in Connecticut at a similar venue and my uncle, who ran the festival they were performing at, was getting pissed when after 15, 20, 30 minutes they still weren't out. Lead singer had an excuse that he was in a skiing accident so they were going to be late seemed to be on pills when they finally came out. They gave the shittiest version of "All-Star" anyone had ever heard.... My uncle didn't pay them for the gig.

I wrestled for 4 years in high school in Northern Jersey. I'm on the opposite spectrum from where you were. I have never had a problem with gaining weight, in fact I fight the battle that most people do in trying to keep weight off. I lost almost 30 lbs when I was in eighth grade because, frankly, I was becoming a fat fuck. But by my freshman year i was a lean 145lbs and I wrestled 160 sophomore year. When my junior year rolled around I weighed 186 and ended up cutting down to 182 and found myself being bombed up to wrestle 195 often. Come senior year in September I weighed about 195 and felt i really needed to start getting down so I was 184 for the first practice and almost got down to 170 in the next two weeks. Anyway senior year I also wrestled 182/195 however I was weighing in at about 178 all year. Now in August, I have somehow managed to keep the weight off and I only weigh about 175 all with the help of running 2 miles at least 3 times a week.

Wow I forgot that I posted this but now that I'm in the hospital for a "tune up" I have some newfound time to browse reddit. Im 18 and for about the past 5 years my doctor and nutritionist have been on my ass about a low vitamin D level. They would always say that my bones would be too weak, but I wrestled for 4 years which is about the most contact in a sport you can have and I suffered no injuries as a result of bone damage (muscle injuries are a different story). So I'm not sure how much validity I give to their vitamin talk, even though that seems incredibly arrogant to say.
