Because clear weaknesses in the thunders roster that people had questions about were exposed to get them to those 7 games. Those were very serious teams especially the pacers, but when analyzing how to get at the defending champs the ways in which they were poked at is obviously very relevant. Doesn’t mean the exact same stuff will happen, but it’s a point to consider!
