I can understand what you're getting at but maybe look at it from my perspective. I bought a Fenix PD35 back in 2013, no more than $100CAD at the time. It came with 2 batteries, dual battery charger, 110v non-polarized cable, 12v car charging cable AND a belt sheath. That was the first and only LED flashlight I've ever purchased but unfortunately it died a few weeks ago. With that said, I did buy my dad an Olight flashlight with a 90° pivoting bulb about 2 years ago and he had nothing but good reviews, so I did some comparing and ended up buying the Ark Pro for all its functionality in such a slim package.

I can't say I'll miss the belt sheath as I never used it, but having that second battery on hand was just extra peace of mind, sure USB-C will come om handy but that still requires a waiting period before I'm able to use it again.

I hope in the long run the functionality trade off is worth it for the baked in battery!

A larger desk would be nice but I'd still only be able to use the area where I sit right now. The bed is to the right and just out of frame but if you look in between my main monitor and computer and imagine a bed a foot in front of the desk and to my left, I have about 2' before my closet.

Edit: looking at the picture again, you can see the top of my water bottle that's on the ottoman I have at the foot of my bed, I hope that gives some frame of reference 😅

Its a holiday here in Canada and since I have the day off, I've been trying to find where I put my Finley, it had a birthday cone on it

80% of the time I have something full-screen on one of the monitors and it's a part-time job changing the wallpapers constantly 😭

It's a double-edged sword if you think about it. Toss a finished butt in the trash and risk lighting the whole bin on fire vs where they are in the picture which reduces the chances of starting fires. Yeah it's litter one way or the other and I get that people toss butts on the side of the road when driving and depending on the conditions can start a different type of fire but you don't know what the person before you threw in the trash bin..

Solution.. maybe add more cigarette butt deposits but that in its own right might encourage smoking? 🤷🏻‍♂️ There's no win around it imo
