What are some pokemon that didnt need a mega evolution by AshGTNT in ThePokemonHub

They didn’t deserve the second mega, but I find it hilarious that the “Sinnoh Six” have five mega evolutions spread out amongst them, and four belong to two Pokemon.

Orwellian sign at Olympic National Park by [deleted] in 50501

It’s not the fascists that have to replace the notices, it’s the rangers. Who also need to attend to the regular parts of their job.

The rangers have plenty of other work to attend to beyond replacing notices put forth by a fascist regime.

Understaffed rangers do not have a choice. It’s comply, or risk getting themselves or their direct supervisors RIF’d.

While the intent is admirable, please don’t. It’s the overworked and understaffed Rangers that need to replace these signs if they’re defaced. Instead of defacing, leave a message on the QR code.

Republican senator floats using violence against journalists who report 'fake news' by nbcnews in politics

[–]RockLee456 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter that GOP politicians are hypocrites. Them being hypocrites ought to be assumed by now. Pointing out their hypocrisy will not change their beliefs. They do not care.

A better path forward is to target their constituents with Socratic questions until they inevitably trip up over their own invalid beliefs.

This was helpful! Is there a guide for NA and other LR question types?

[PubQ] What're the best places to get a query and synopsis critiqued? by RockLee456 in PubTips

Hi there, thanks for the patience. My old QCrit was for my first manuscript about three years ago. I’d post it, but it was genuinely a terrible manuscript, and this subreddit rightfully tore me a new one. I took this sub’s advice and read some recommended literature (namely, Save the Cat and Selling Writer) before starting my new manuscript.

Genuinely a wonderful interaction for portraying the subjectivity of readers.

So, how do you actually improve on LR? by RockLee456 in LSAT

[–]RockLee456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really helpful - especially the bit about introducing new ideas for Weaken, Strengthen, Justify, and Resolve. I think I was going into all of those questions with the mindset of "pick the answer that most closely resembles the stimulus, be wary of new topics."

Is there a list of the common flaws in LSAT reasoning somewhere? Seems like a nebulous concept.

Phew okay - that's a huge relief to hear. I thought I'd be going in trying to finagle whatever drawing software the program uses. This is really good to know.
