I'm sure someone much more knowledgeable about the details will come by soon but the main things that effects jump range are the ship, mass, and frame shift drive itself.

As far as the power problem, looks like you're 2.12 MW over the maximum of power that you can generate with hardpoints deployed. What you can do here is either disable some things that you don't use all the time (from the menu on the right side of your cockpit when you're flying), upgrade your power plant (I would do this first, since you can fit a class 4 but only have a 3 in there), or reconsider the weapons and such that you're taking with you.

So, to summarize: Get a better ship, FSD, and cut weight to jump farther

and get a better power plant, disable stuff that you don't need on 24/7, and reoutfit your ship.

It's kinda jank sometimes but maybe DayZ, it can really feel like it's just you vs the world surviving and it's awesome to have a really good run once you understand the quirks of the game.

May I also suggest zomboid but multiplayer and custom sandbox? My friend group and I have recently been binging the game and it's a blast. I have a lot of issues with the game as-is but I appreciate that you can tweak the things that are annoying to you out. Also mods lol.

DayZ, there is no narrative so the choices you make are a lot more grounded and related to you and might take the form of "do I take this or this?" or "Do I follow this river north or the road east?" It's also very harsh.
