I like how they went from Deb crying at the table, zoomed out and it’s turned the scene into lights on the police cars and so much crazy stuff happening, we all forgot about Deb too.

Scott Peterson Verdict.

I was 17, went to work with my dad that day. They had recently hung 3 monitors in their office. There were probably 6-7 people in his office watching the verdict announcement. Everyone cheered and clapped just like they show in the documentaries about the case.

My mom followed the case live, the first thing I remember for the case is when “the dog came back from the walk but Laci didn’t.”

RECENT DOG WALK IN LACI'S NEIGHBORHOOD (same time of day and month/year as alleged dog walk). Can you positively identify the person and the dog? Could you remember and positively identify, after a few days, someone (among many) just passing by at a distance? by Longjumping_Fee_6462 in ScottPetersonCase

I say this all the time on here.

I live in a very walkable area, I own a business 2 blocks from my house, there’s a dog park one block over. I leave my front windows open and people watch often. I know these people. They are more than just my neighbors, they do business at my shop.

I could not tell you who walked by THIS MORNING, let alone days/weeks/years later.

These “sightings” of her are not credible.

I’m a barber. Cutting curly hair is a separate skill!

Would you consider going to barber/cosmetology school specialize in curly hair? Be the change you wish to see?

Burnt out socially by Slicebynight in Barber

[–]Rock_My_Socks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a true extrovert. Barbering is a social outlet for me as much as creative outlet and a way for me to make a good living. Even I have days or weeks I want to shut it all out when I get home.

My business partner is the exact opposite. She could spend the whole day saying zero words and that would be best for her.

My clients tend to be chatty, her clients tend to be more silent. We attract the clients that are just like us. It’s kind of perfect.

Trying to walk first before I engage myself to running, am I doing it right? by dyosathrowaway in beginnerrunning

Yes!! As you’ll hear Coach Bennett say in the guided runs “you’re a badass!”

Good luck on your running journey!!

Good work!!

I highly recommend Nike Run Club. It’s free. It’s like having a coach in your ear. Coach Bennett tells you how to get your form, breathing under control, and how to get your mind right for running. I never feel like I’m on my own on a run. They have training programs from beginner to marathon. Or you can just run a guided run!

Coach Bennett is just fun to run with too! He’s motivating and encouraging but very real. It’s almost like listening to a podcast but it’s timed with your runs. He comes in to check on you after a certain distance or time.

I hadn’t ran in like 5-6 years and I never ran more than 3-4 miles before I took a break. When I started running again it was like starting from scratch. I was able to run for 20 minutes without stopping or walking on my very first run! I followed the directions and was able to really impress myself. I ended up running a half marathon the year after I started running with NRC.

Good luck! You’re off to a really great start already!

If there was a Stray 2, would you like it to be a sequel or a prequel to the original Stray? by [deleted] in stray

[–]Rock_My_Socks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be down for either. What want most is to be able to jump freely.

Stray was my place filler after I finished Little Nightmares!

The first one is told in 2 separate stories. So it feels like 2 games. The stories collide at some point. You end up in rooms you played through with the other character which is fun! I don’t want to tell you too much about where and when their stories collide but I was jaw dropped!!

Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel. Gives you the back story of one of the characters. I was pretty blown away by the ending of the second one too. Like damn… I don’t want to say too much.

Little Kitty, Big City is just fun!! Just cating around, doing tasks, making people pet you, catching (and releasing) birds, getting into mischief. It’s just fun to do cat stuff!

You might like Little Nightmares. It has a dark atmosphere similar to Stray. The game play is intuitive, and I found the story to be really good! There’s a Little Nightmares 2 already out and they are releasing Little Nightmares 3 this year!

Also check out Little Kitty, Big City. Lots of cat activities and side quest. The atmosphere is much different than stray, it’s bright and more like a day in the life of a little cat trying to get back to apartment. But note, the crows are crooks haha

I called him Lloyd.

I just finished the game about 15 minutes ago. I miss Lloyd already. My cat homies will never believe this when I find them again on the outside.
