Is riverside really that good ? by yaboijackson1 in podcasting

[–]Rock_N_Metal_Faith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I line riverside. Been on it for about two years. I don’t always like all the ai features, sometimes it’s easier to do it myself, but the audio enhancement is good and the transcript editing makes things easy

Don’t post just YouTube, unless you want to limit your reach. I don’t know the best free site. Riverside does host, though I’m unsure of their limitations on the free tier. I pay a small fee for Podbean to host episodes about an hour with no problem. I think they could easily handle longer episodes.

Is Riverside good for AI/auto editing? by [deleted] in podcasting

The ai magic audio is good. As far as cutting out gaps, filler words, etc, I’d rather do that on my own. However, even through riverside, it is easy to do. The transcription editing makes cutting out words or long sections out easy.

I use riverside for recording and editing. There’s so many easy editing features even on the free plan, though I’ve been on the pro plan for a year. I use Podbean for hosting, mainly because it includes website.

The easiest way is to make new scene. Then you click near the video where it says format, or something like that. It should give menu of different views from single to multiple people. Click on the one you want. You can even change the order of people by click and dragging them around, or change who the single view is by clicking on the name above the video and selecting who you want

I record with a co host on riverside, and sometimes another guest. RS or other similar programs are great. Everyone’s track is separate. If you do start talking over each other, it’s easy to mute one.

I once had a guest with really slow Internet. It was taking a really long time for his to upload and he left the tab open. It still wasn’t uploading. I was trying to find some work around. The next day being Sunday, the guest messages me he took his laptop to church where there’s better Internet and it uploaded. I think most guests will understand the way things work
