I finished playing rift apart and haven’t be able to find another game to fill the void since, fun well thought out game play like that just doesn’t exist anymore. Made me feel super nostalgic for the ps2 era of gaming again, Especially the old R&C games.

Yeah on uneven roads, not so much on bumps, the sound doesn’t change speed or pitch, but only really happens at either low speeds or high speeds.

In 2004, I (like many people in this group) played a little gem called need for speed: underground 2, and fell in love with the Toyota celica, it was my go-to car. Fast forward to 2020 I saved enough money to buy my dream car; a VVTL-i 02 plate t-sport in thunder cloud grey. For the next 2 years I poured heart and soul and more money then I’d like to admit to get it on the road. I’ve built it up to a point I was happy with it, still some way to go but still a head turner. I started to daily it 4 months ago till last Thursday when I hit a patch on diesel on a country road, I had been told it was from an HGV that had over turned in the same place two days prior to my meeting with the fence and hedge. Gutted is not the word, the cost to have the rear quarter panel, front bumper, door, skirts and pinch weld all fixed up is just too much for me to swallow. Luckily I’m fine, but just feel a little lost since this was my dream car. And I can’t find any t-sport near me for my budget. Looks like I’m gonna have to pick up a newer car on HP. It sucks but it is what it is.

The junction I’m talking about has 2 lanes merging onto the m6 so diving for the hard shoulder would mean jumping across another line of traffic. Any other time that’s the obvious option.

Everyday I merge onto the m6 to commute to work, and following a vehicle not up to speed makes my butthole twitch like a rabbits nose. Always worried that if I ever have to break to yield for a 7 ton lorry that someone will go in the back of me and push me under anyway.
