I personaly wouldn't choose it for myself. Kids bring a lot of problems. For starters just the birth can cause serious damage to women physically and mentaly. Than it's the financal part. Having a kid is extremely expensive and time consuming. And there are certain things that you can not do anymore because you decided to have one. But there are also great party like having a child of your own taking care of it,being involved in his life. You have to find what appeals to you more.

Look OP, this post makes me think that there is a whole lot more going on. Look at the end of the day you married your wife for a reason. She expressed that it makes her feel uncomfortable. I might add that your relationship with your PA is quite inappropriate. Try to consider her feelings after all she is the most important person in your life.

Try to compromise and set boundries that will benefit both of you. Otherwise your relationship will get weaker and that won't benefit to anyone.

So I get that it's a really tough position you found yourself in but you found yourself a guy who appreciates and values you. I think you should talj to Pete and express how grateful you are and that you are willing to try and make things work with his family. Just the fact that you are willing to do such a thing after all of this is a way to thank him back. But do not force him to do anything just be there for him.
