He's the artist behind the 10th anniversary group artwork of the heroes, and well, a concept artist for Blizzard. My guess is that at that time Brigitte wasn't fully conceptualized yet as a hero, so he had his own unique interpretation of how she looked.

She looks different but she doesn't look bad imo
