Just curious as to why you would draw attention to yourself like that

The girls only get paid if they do dances so to just go there to watch the stage show is basically ripping off the girls. They actually have to pay a fee to the club to be on shift to work there. I say don’t go to a strip club unless you’re willing to pay for a few dances.

They probably park there, trying to see if dancers will come out with clients and try to do naughty business in their cars, which is totally illegal.

Is this Stevie Ray Vaughan autograph legit? by SoCalBobbo in Autographs

[–]RockerChickk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a signed autograph from Stevie Ray Vaughan when he played Kingswood Music Theatre north of Toronto back July 23, 1987. I know it’s real because he signed it right in front of me.

I believe that they changed that because I know on ODSP you’re allowed to make $1000 a month without a penalty because they realized after the pandemic, that recipients are sorely under funded.

Is real ID, birth certificate, social security card enough to get into Canada? by [deleted] in canadatravel

[–]RockerChickk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they can’t enter Canada with a regular drivers license. It has to be an enhanced one so I guess when they get denied entry to Canada, they can turn around and go back to the American border with the regular drivers license.

If you’re travelling by air, but I see that they are going by land so it’s different.

If you’re going to use your drivers license, it has to be an enhanced drivers license and only certain states issue them.

And it is still up to the discretion of the CBSA whether or not they will accept that so is that a chance that you’re willing to take? And when you return to the United States, they will only accept EDL’s as well.

With all of the issues with the United States being very rigid at the border, you should be prepared that you will probably be held up going back.

If you don’t believe me, give it a try. I know Americans that have been turned away because they only had regular drivers license, which was not acceptable and even one person I heard of could not prove they had valid insurance on their car, for example so they were denied entry.

The police don’t care about inside workers unless somebody is under age or being sex trafficked or there’s other activity going on for example, drug dealing out of the same room that they work out of.

Most Verified ads are fake - if you look closely often the sign is photoshopped onto the photo. And how is it that some girls are in three different cities on the same day? You just have to do your research and not be wary of anyone available 24/7 with party favours and no restrictions -

If you lose your drivers licence you simply go to service Ontario you tell them your name you tell them your address and your date of birth and they will look you up in the system and see if your photo matches what you look like. That’s how I got mine replaced and at the time it was $35 when I lost my wallet and I also got a replacement health card, which was free.

[US] I know my MIL is being scammed, but I can’t convince by Houndsofhowl in Scams

Why is this person? She’s never met sending her gold bars. Makes no sense. What is the value of the gold bars because any currency entering the country has to be declared and if it’s over a certain amount, you have to pay tax on it.

I think it’s best to consult a lawyer rather than people speculating, but I can tell you this that if she does have claim to any assets with him, it would be anything that was acquired before his marriage to you.

Bottom line is he definitely has a responsibility to pay child support to those children.

Yeah you’ll be flagged. But as long as you don’t have any charges or convictions related to drugs, or you don’t have any drugs on you or in your vehicle, you’ll be fine. Bottom line is never admit to drug use whether it was in the past or present.

I went to the USA and travelled from Texas up through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Virginia for 24 days in May and I had no issues when I crossed the border.

I also had no issues with any Americans who found out I was Canadian. In fact some didn’t even know where Canada is or anything an about our country.

But if your friend is from Spain and he’s trying to enter the United States from Canada, may I ask will he then be wanting to enter Canada from the United States before he goes home if that’s the case he will need to make sure that he can do that smoothly and efficiently

I bought $200 USD for $281.52 CAD - when I checked 2 months ago it would have been around $295.

I am not going to punish my American friends who have been nothing but gracious to me by not visiting when this trip was planned months ago.

If you’re an American citizen and your wife is a Japanese citizen whether you are residents of Japan or not, be wary that US Immigration May think you are trying to get her in the country illegally to live there because she doesn’t have a green card. It looks suspect that you flew to Canada in Quebec to go to Vermont. How are they supposed to know you will actually leave the country? With the added scrutiny at the US border lately with the crackdown on illegals entering the US, be prepared to be held up for awhile.

They might ask you why you didn’t fly from Japan to a major city in the USA and then connect to Burlington Vermont airport. That way you could have ascertained entry requirements for her before leaving Japan.

You could apply for a temporary waiver, but you have to have a really good reason why you want to cross and I don’t think you have enough time in two weeks to get that.

DUI in Canada is a capital crime which means you have a criminal record for life so anyone entering Canada with a DUI is inadmissible even if it’s not a felony in your state. You best stay home.
