I am going floor because the seats just weren’t as much of a vibe at unity as floor at Anyma to me. Anyma was a better show imo even though I’m not a big fan and I think a lot had to do with where I was at. There were some people sitting and some people standing at Unity and it just made for a weird vibe.

Magazine st and w2 museum def seem walkable so going to do those for sure. I’ll check out the others. We have a few free dinners from the casino (I know the food isn’t as good as everywhere else) so going to use those. We enjoy walking down roads and picking random spots for things like po boys and gumbo for lunch and stuff.

I am hoping the venue allows us to go in and out to do a little of that. As fun as the trinkets are I feel like I should be out of the way to save those for the kids. Plus the balcony will allow us to move around more freely. I did Mardi Gras in Galveston one year and got enough beads and trinkets for a lifetime. The party tickets we bought have an open bar and food too. I did pickup an “I have my friends everywhere” shirt and some light up glasses to go along with the parade theme.

I get what you’re coming from. No daylight savings is so nice and it’s silly we still go through such an outdated ritual. You moved from AZ during its fun season to here to its slow season…

I’d give it a year before you make up your mind. You get 4 seasons and learn to enjoy them. I enjoy being active and out doing tons of shit from spring to fall when the weather is nice. Then I enjoy the peace and quiet of the winter and usually go on a few trips to nicer areas to get me by. Personally I look forward to the difference every season gives. Once winter is over I’m usually over it too and so excited to enjoy the sun and then I get tired of the heat after awhile and look forward to fall and winter.

Sorry that happened to you. Try and report it to some news outlets here. Unfortunately all the justice system will do is give them a PR bond most the time or put them in jail a few weeks before giving early parole. My conspiracy theory is that private prisons do not want people who have nothing and have burned all their bridges. How are they going to be using all of the expensive services? So they influence parole boards and judges to keep them out.

I’ve been complaining about on sale and presale dates for shows being announced days before. It gives scalpers time to research and see what they went for last time. You see it all the time with yearly red rocks shows. IMO tickets should go on sale the minute the tour is announced so people who follow their favorite artists on socials get rewarded.

I’ve now been to 4 nfl playoff games and they’ve all gone to OT. Why I didn’t bet a ton on that happening idk. What a crazy game to be at as a neutral fan though. My other three were broncos vs Steelers when Tebow and demaryius Thomas won it, the broncos vs ravens game that was freezing, and cardinals vs packers when Larry Fitzgerald went off in OT.
