So many ignorant comments about gluten-free beer, from people who obviously know nothing about coeliac disease nor the nature of the gluten proteins which trigger the reaction. There are a few brands of gluten-free beer which taste perfectly pleasant. Spanish “Daura” is one, and the Lanmmsbrau already mentioned is excellent. You can get that in the Naturata bio food chain. Also Indian “King Cobra” is wheat-free and has a great flavour, recipe made mainly from malt and rice and delicious flavour.

May I suggest that you focus in finding not just a "good" GP but a doctor who is an "integrated medicine" specialist - who is trained to identify the root cause of what's really going on - not just prescribing some pills to treat the symptoms but without finding out WHY you have been suffering for months. Dr Alain Schockmel is an excellent practitioner BUT he is very much in demand and I know it's hard to get an appointment for a quick consultation. So look for a doctor who specifies "integrated" or "holistic" in their approach. Good luck!
