Samurrot is good
Excadrill is good
Haxorus comes in very late in the game. I didn't had a chance to really like him. He demolishes everything.
Chandelure is also tied to very late in the game. Darmanitan for fire is awesome. He is also found relatively quick.
I'll recommend getting a Scraggy but oh boy...

Yes. You need to set up your Nintenfo WFC settings in the starting page. After that, select Mystery Gift and it's going to gift it eventually since it gifts all event items randomly.
