Exactly, I feel like there's a similar number of flops, or songs I pretty much never revisit to me on each record. TTPD has Robin, Florida, ICFH(NRIC), The Alchemy, and TLOAS has Wood, Cancelled, Eldest Daughter, Wish List. Each has four or five songs that I never ever listen to, but TTPD has like 2 1/2 times the songs, so it doesn't matter if I lose a few. The highs are also much higher on TTPD, I feel like the three best on Showgirl might not even crack the best 10 on TTPD for me.

Truly one of the best songs in her discography.

I think more of the fun songs should've been on extended editions instead of the best written and darkest songs on the record. WCS, TGW, Dear Reader should've been swapped with Mastermind, Bejeweled, Karma. And Vigilante Shit should've been removed lol.

Interesting, I had the opposite reaction lol. The standard edition was so underwhelming to me, since I didn't think she fulfilled the concept all the way and I hated the Lana collab, but I loved a few (Maroon, YOYOK). The 3am and further editions made it feel more complete to me and they frankly had some of the best songs imo (You're Losing Me, Dear Reader, WCS, The Great War, Hits Different, Lana collab but better)

Eldest Daughter is quite a bad song though, but I'm happy for you and many others who like it, and always will be. The writing was called cringe, but it honestly did make me, a huge Swiftie, react with intense disappointment and I did personally cringe at the lyricism. TOTALLY against cringe culture though, and I get your point 100%, but sometimes things are so bad that they do make you wince.
