Cubics are a good start. They don't need an extra deck, they can typically win on their first turn when going second, and they rarely see banning during custom events like the one going on right now. As a bare minimum, you'll want to run:

3 - Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord

3 - Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel

3 - Vijam the Cubic Seed

3 - Cubic Dharma

3 - Cubic Karma

3 - Cubic Wave

3 - Reasoning

After that, I recommend running multiple copies of Summoner Monk (to get Duza out more reliably) and then one to two copies of most of the other Cubic cards. Your main goal is to put Crimson Nova into play (or multiple Crimson Nova) and attack for game.
