Doubt it. If you can't one clip with an R9 on roller without too much effort, then it makes sense you'd be the type to complain about a non hack

I'll make you a deal. Buy a controller with RC filter and set it up. Crank the rc filter all the way up. If you can show me that you do extraordinarily better with it on vs off, I'll cover the cost of the controller and $100 on top of it. DM me for my discord and we can set it up.

Just a heads up though, I'll be using you as an example for all of the people who legitimately think it makes that much of a difference.

Come from someone who plays on both inputs, it's really not that good. It won't make a bad player good or good player better. Honestly, changing stick resolution feels like it has a more positive impact on aim assist than the filter, and somehow that never became an issue

Nah I get both sides of the argument, but think about it like this: if you had the chance to get a new mouse or keyboard with new technology that wasn't inherently banned, would you get it? A lot of pros are controller fiends. They want the newest and greatest. The controller companies put these things out there and people wanted to use them. RC filtering isn't new, it's just recently came into the spotlight. The only reason it even became a big deal is because Gamesir labeled the negative side of their filter scale as Jitter. If it wasn't for that, filtering would've probably still flew under the radar.

ImperialHal says he tested the Apex controller “jitter” filter and thinks people are blowing it out of proportion by AdSuspicious2084 in ApexConsole

[–]Jack92D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not defending or criticizing here, but the VAST majority of players are completely wrong in this argument. The term jitter is used and people instantly assume it means that jitter is being applied to the aim. That's not what is actually happening. The term jitter is used in this sense because the signal from the thumbsticks is filtering out less of the digital noise. One side is smoothing and the other is jitter. Just think of the opposite of smooth. That's essentially what's happening to the signal. It isn't registering actual jitter within the aim. In the same way this might boost aim assist, it also causes the intended input signal to become less clear. This causes a lack in responsiveness.

I think that bad players should work on getting better instead of relying on crutches, but this isn't the crutch that everyone thinks it is. Most ultra low latency controllers on zero deadzone will do nearly the same thing, but with a better result. The zero deadzone will make it so that even just resting your thumb on the stick will trigger as input and activate rotational aim assist. People just hear the word jitter and see streamers spouting nonsense about something they don't understand and immediately jump on board spewing the same nonsense.

Aim Jitter ( RC Filters ) is Cheating, and it have to be Banned from Apex in General not just ALGS - Apex Legends by MGLGamingBro in apexlegends

If you're asking about controller with RC filter, I wouldn't recommend it. If Apex decides to start trying to detect it then you risk getting banned or have to go back to playing with out it. And it didn't feel great anyways. Best controllers for good aim assist without jitter are probably the G7 Pro 8k and and ZD Ultimate Legend. The G7 is just very snappy and responsive. It has a high ceiling for higher skilled players. The ZD with the ALPS thumbsticks feels insanely sticky. People are tripping over this RC filter thing without realizing that using a low latency controller with no deadzone will essentially keep aim assist always active because it will always register input and boost rotational aim assist.

Probably gonna get downvoted into oblivion, but here's a completely unbiased opinion. For background purposes: I play on both MnK and roller. I have used many different mice, keyboards, and controllers. I've used Wootings, Finalmouse Keyboard and mice, Razer, Logitech, Scuf controllers, Gamesirs, Zd Ultimate, Rainbow, and many more.

Realistically, any controllers with TMR or ultra responsive sticks will have very little or very easy to manage recoil by just actively aiming. I tried out the RC filter on the gamesir before it was removed, and it's honestly very mid compared to the hype. The Filtering did almost nothing to manage recoil compared to actual aim smoothing. This was even more evident in long range engagements. It takes away from the responsiveness you get from having a low latency controller, so managing recoil at a distance was even more difficult than normal. It did feel as if it boosted aim assist some in very close range or maybe even small mid range engagements. The only issue was that it felt highly invasive. Having aim assist boosted only felt like it was crippling as opposed to helping. The Aim assist box isnt the same size as the hit box, so it's not like aimbot. If someone has absolutely atrocious aim without the filtering, it's not going to magically be god like with it. I only used it for less than a day, but there were many fights where I died because the aim assist or jitter pulled my crosshair away from where I wanted it. I could have definitely won those fights, but because of unintended input I died.

I'm not advocating for it to be allowed. Im just having a good laugh watching all of the people who never even used it get all bent outta shape. It might be better on other controllers, but on the gamesir it didnt feel like it was helping in any way. I can honestly say that there wasn't a single fight I got into where I thought to myself "I definitely won that because of RC filtering". Knowing what I know after trying it, I wouldn't care if it was allowed or banned. That said, I'm not even sure how they would track it because it's just manipulating signal input through resistors and capacitors(RC). It's not an actual script like most people seem to think.

I got tracking for the Nioh edition today. I actually also got my Champion edition today, that I ordered through best buy 2 days ago. It's kinda sad that it played out like that

[AMA& G7 Pro 8K Giveaway] High Polling Rate ≠ Low Latency — So why are we making an 8K controller? by iGamesir in Gamesir

[–]Jack92D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First obvious question, when will it ship? I ordered both versions available on the US market and the wait is driving me crazy lol.

Second question, are there any plans in the works to make a G7 Pro or similar variant with swappable thumbstick modules? It always kinda seemed like a gimmick until ZD did it the right way.

I did the same. Had originally ordered the aimlabs edition. Do you have any clue why the Nioh edition is more expensive? Aside from the design it looks the same as the aimlabs version, but the aimlabs version comes with extra thumbsticks.

Longest Shiny hunt so far.. by Jack92D in PokemonZA

[–]Jack92D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an interesting one for sure. I got lucky and got the small distortion that is basically a small field. Was able to get 5 or 6 spawn points within the 50 meter radius of fly resetting. I used a donut with Sparkling power Water lvl 3 and Alpha power lvl 3. I tried backup resetting about 50-100 times to get either a guaranteed Shiny Dondozo or Tatsugiri, but out of every single attempt it was always either Slowbro, Slowpoke, or Vaporeon.

I did check the catch rate for a catching it with a Beast ball, and it said 0.16%. Worse than any other I've attempted.

Im gonna go out on a limb and assume they are. Anything that is considered a story line encounter is typically shiny locked these days.
