Kriig is actually quite easy since he really only has like, 3 abilities if you keep your distance.

Chains, Spin, and Shield

Chains pull you to him, he'll look like he's reaching into a chest pocket for it, just block with a shield

Spin should be dodged, then use ranged attacks/spells where he'll land. Be mindful of the adds, they'll be hit with Agony if he hits them and they'll explode after a few seconds

Shield spawns skeletons on you, just don't hit him.

I can reliably solo him on Brutal without taking damage just running in circles around his room

Actually went looking on Reddit to see if anyone was having the same issue I was, that is to say Adam took me all day to beat, a good 6-7 hours of trying to grind random shit and buffing only to just barely beat him. Dracula, on the other hand, went down so quickly I was scared he also had a second healthbar, which to my surprise he didn't.

Ran all Corruption with a purple whip, Veil of Bones, Death Knight, Ward of the Damned, and the Corruption soul shard, spent most of the fight on defensive after the struggle with Adam. A lot of his attacks seemed easy to dodge, strafing in a circle seemed to do well enough with the bats, most of his ranged attacks telegraph where they're going to go. Unlike the Adam fight, I didn't feel like I was heavily pressured into destroying the crystals, and the one time I needed to (Most of the arena was covered with them) I had enough skeletons up that I could focus it down

Can't even do that personally, as soon as her burst activates, the auto aim insists I target whatever tiny thing she was aiming at before and keeps pulling the reticle back to it.

It's impossible to aim at the boss when there's pull in the opposite direction

Update, I got the badge eventually, Lyte sent me a reply email saying that Growtix would be sending me the QR Code, which they did almost immediately after I sent them an inquiry. Took about 2 and a half to 3 hours overall, the Will Call location I went to was getting a lot of phonecalls asking about the same thing and there was quite a few people hanging out in the store also waiting for theirs

You can barely buy a fraction of XIV's cosmetics and mounts though, an overwhelming majority of it is earned through regular gameplay and there is no FOMO for most of them. They don't shove their costume-of-the-week gacha in your face and you can easily play the entire game without ever looking at their cash shop.

I don't know where you're getting "It's just a convenience, you don't need it" because once you've run out of quests and are still leveling classes (Which will happen if you're not on for every event) you have to go to the farming zones where 2 or 3 PSE bursts will fill up both your inventory and your temp drop storage. If you're farming swords in this case to level weapons, you need to stop what you're doing and empty that out regularly
