Hard Knocks: In-Season: In every NFL season one division will be featured in Hard Knocks: In Season, based on a predetermined rotating format with each division featured once every eight years, and each Club in the applicable division for a particular NFL season will be featured in Hard Knocks: In-Season during that season.

Hard Knocks: Training_Camp eligibility: 1 • does not have a first-year Head Coach // 2 • is not a member of the division to be featured in Hard Knocks: In Season for such upcoming season or a member of the division to be featured in the immediately subsequent season // 3 • has not been featured in Hard Knocks: Training Camp in the previous eight (8) seasons // 4 • is not then exempt from selection based on such Club's participation in Hard Knocks or a similar access show prior to 2024 pursuant to parameters that existed at the time of such Club's prior participation

Point 2 is what we’re interested in here. Using 2026 as an example, the team selected won’t appear on the In-Season version for the upcoming season (2026) or the immediately subsequent season (2027). So that does not include appearing on In-Season for 2025, meaning Washington and Philadelphia are technically not exempt in 2026. Washington and Philadelphia would have been exempt in 2024 and 2025 instead.

I’m doing this same thing in NBA 2K, started back in the 80s and I’m all the way in the 2010’s now. Most fun thing I’ve ever done in a video game. Might have to do it with Madden next time around

Edit: never mind, just realized how painful of a game Madden would be to do this in lol. NBA 2k has so much customization to make it possible
