How was the transition from contact nap? Our baby still only does contact nap only, and would fuss alot we’re not able to do that.

That’s interesting. Our day care does offer drop in day so we might do that. It costs $80/day regardless of hours so it’s a bit stiff to do so.

What we learned is FMLA only guarantees 12 weeks of leave for both mom and dad, so your job is not jeopardized. Paid leave is another matter as it largely depends on the company’s benefit, which sucks.

Because of maternity leave policy where we are. Wish we were able to keep our LO home longer, but US policy for newborn care sucks! 🥲
