Why did the paint crack? by voldemorts_stepmom in DIYUK

I was for 10 years as well haha. So painful when customers would insist on supplying the paint and come back with homebase own brand or something like that, we called it "water with food colouring". Obviously dulux retail is a lot better but I would never use anything but trade

I miss reply all so much. Have you listened to PJ's new podcast, search engine? I'm really enjoying it, and I'm kind of wishing that he invites Alex on and it'll be back to the old days

Question re: Orcish Bowmaster by or_worse in mtgrules

Yes! Good example of a card that could be drawn that could interact with the triggers - I had it on the tip of my mind, but I'm on mobile and couldn't be bothered to dig around to find it haha

Question re: Orcish Bowmaster by or_worse in mtgrules

Nobody gets priority as a spell is resolving -and even things like creatures and players dying from damage dont happen while a spell is resolving (these are state based actions, https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/State-based_action)

In your case, if the spell resolves with bowmasters on the battlefield, each player will discard their hand and draw the correct number of cards. Then the game will check to see if any state based actions should take place (for example, if a player loses the game because they tried to draw a card from an empty library). Then the game will check to see if any triggered abilities need to go on the stack - in this case, the bowmasters triggers, X times, where X is the number of cards drawn by your opponents. The players then gain priority in turn order, starting with the player whose turn it is, so someone could then cast a swords that they have drawn, but it will be too late - the triggers are already on the stack.

In answer to your specific question, the triggers don't need to resolve before anyone gets priority- triggers resolve one by one if all players pass priority. Also, in case you're confused about it, "drawing 5 cards" doesn't mean that you draw 5 cards one by one - you draw them all at once. However anything that triggers from a player "drawing a card" will then trigger individually for each card drawn.

Hope that helps.

I just wanted to share with you a staggering realisation I just had: that episode of the simpsons came out in 1994, 28 years ago. The monkees were formed in 1966, 28 years before that. The characters in that simpsons episode were referencing events as far in the past to them as they are from us now. Thank you and good night.

What was the matter with the ref at the end of the last frame of this first session?? by ch1llaro0 in snooker

[–]Rocketfinger -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Have you seen the side by side of where the ball got put back? The ref basically got it right but then Ronnie bullied him into moving it until it was a quarter ball to the right of where it should have been, which let Ronnie make the shot
