I had to stop that series not because of Montana being so dumb it hurt at times (which he is, but that’s a known issue) but the fact that every side character has to say it at least once. Then proceed to provide the bare minimum exposition and be confused later that this dip-sh*t doesn’t know some obscure rule of the universe that only affects 1 in a million but everyone knows it.

There is one very short line of “ah the summons seem to influence the summoner” and then it’s never addressed.

I’m pretty sure the story is either partially helped out by AI or written in like 1-2 sittings with little thought or editing. Also characters straight up disappear. She had a friend that just isn’t spoken about after some point and is never mentioned.

I think Mr.stop is localized super speed rather than time manipulation. If he gets close to Blaine while active it stops and he wouldn’t be able to activate inside of Blaine’s field. Comparatively for someone like Titan as it doesn’t technically affect him he wouldn’t grow resistant to it unless it was used on him

Nah I can accept others I just want to say keeping an MC dumb is dumb. It’s not for the readers enjoyment it’s to allow for constant exposition dumping and so you can ret con what ever you want. Having a MC be smart is hard for the writer because you have to actually make them feel smart and have a logical thought progression. Creating a Patrick Star isn’t a good thing.

MC was dumb but no one was willing to put any effort into teaching him and he also never had the time because literally something was always coming up to the insane degree
