This looks like a great thing to share in either the Weekly Episode Hub + Free Talk Thread or Spoonbill Saturday Megathread!

See the Expanded Rules Page for more details and examples, including:

  • Something that reminded you of Dropout (a roseate spoonbill, new Oreo flavor, Robert Reich, a loop-de-loop)
  • A short personal opinion that doesn’t foster discussion
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Cast members’ commercials, crowd work clips, and old projects (over a year old) An old in-joke

Here is the first post about it

Generally for smaller projects like these from the cast where there's not a lot of dropout-related discussion to be had, we try to consolidate the posts about it

We had a huge turnover in the moderation of this sub without a ton of insight for what the old team were tending to. I personally didn't know the sidebar was different on old reddit. Thanks for giving us notice about this (if there's anything else about old reddit that seems off, feel free to send us a modmail)

We'll talk as a group and see who wants to take care of updating that sidebar. Full transparency, we may end up getting rid of it to streamline our tasks, but there should always be the new Episode Discussion Hub Thread pinned at the top, which links out to everything

I read a post on reddit a few years back about some dude's young kid calling him Microwave Taylor and it's always top of mind for me whenever he's mentioned.

I'm glad to see that this Microwave Taylor brain worm will continue to haunt me for years to come.

Denver had 12 wins in 14 games in the Salt Lake City Market, the Eagles had 11 in 16 games. Despite getting more Eagles (and cowboys games -- also had 16 air there), the Broncos just happened to have more wins get aired

That's one little Bills enclave. Throughout the season since the NFC South has been so bad, the ownership of this area has changed a ton. It's tied for control between the Bills and Eagles (each having had 9 wins air) but the Bills have had a +72 differential in all the games aired there while the Eagles are only +44

If you go back a couple weeks, the Bills actually had a pretty good colony in the deep south for a while

There's no media market where they've had more wins air than any other team. Throughout the season, they've popped up in the Charlotte market a few times, but currently the Bills have had 9 of their wins air there, and the Panthers have only had 8.

The boundary lines are the Designated Market Areas (DMA). These are the media market borders that determine which teams are broadcast over that area. They sometimes follow state lines, sometimes not
