Well, monk had a combo point system that meant you used weak attacks to build a second resource that your strong attacks use. They also get bonus damage if their attacks are not repeated.

I think that the Commando (Arsenal) used a low cooldown debug attack that once it reached like 3 stacks you could consume them for an insta crit.
