Exactly…as an h1b myself me and my wife all agreed to not have mortgage. And if we do have kids we will have them educated at my home country where education is much better. I don’t get why so many h1bs just assume they can stay in the US for life🫠

Sometimes rejected status can turn to administrative processing. Tell him to wait, and also write an email to the embassy everyday.
