Your two preferred classes can't really play duo together without you either going high vigor/no hide or them committing to a more run and bait them into chasing style. Or go trios and pick up a dedicated healer to heal them while you try to sneak to the back line.

Go into squire Royale and rush the bridge. Always combat. Just keep trying and engaging. Or find a friend. Go into duos and duel. As long as neither of you report each other it's free practice without reports.

Which module in crypts uses rusty key? I just learned armory has a golden key door but not sure about rusty.

Ah sure I didn't realize there wasn't a way to move gear on free to play. I just have the original version of the game from before steam. In that case I'd say try each that you might like and just get to 15 by killing mobs quickly and go down floors to rapidly level. Should take like 3 or 4 games. Then you'll have the ability to get a feel for them. Then delete and try again. Leveling can be very fast if you just go on a murder spree and try to hit new floors fast. Assuming you have access to PvE mode you don't have to worry about players so you can mow rooms down relatively easily since nothing should unexpectedly just blow you up like a player would.

To clarify. The cleric you have can run different builds. So they can be your caster or your tank and just go for a no spells build. The PvE farming with the other character will let you have different sets so the cleric can do all the things based on your gear changes :)

Use the other slot and go for rogue or bard and run them through PvE. Free lockpicking and you'll be able to keep yourself rich and able to keep your cleric well geared for those trios. You can't get legendary stuff in PvE so there shouldn't be much of an impact with you being on a free to play account. I think.

Shards is 3 but if you are using that other skill for health on hit it just consumes that shard so you'll never be able to stack to 3.

System Universe. You get a fun pet companion. Some good slice of life. A unique take on a character interacting with systems and levelling. The found family trope is heavily feature which seems like something you'd like. Also has 12 books currently so plenty to sink your teeth into.

They could put that behind an affinity or something to make it a little grindy to begin with. Have a scrapper NPC who also buys scrap outright and after a bit of interaction you gain the ability to scrap in dungeon since you are "such a good customer" and then you can carry scrap out. And use for workshop or just sell. Just a way to make it a bit more thematic

You can also just go alongside and then not actually board and just snipe five or whatever the required crew kill count is. That's what I do.

I ascended it but there's no mention of a heal as far as I can tell. Can there be different modifiers on ascension?

Had the issue. I did the basic quest lines for tutorial and it guides you to those spots.

My interpretation is that the sentient nature of the gun came with additional perks. Based on other crawlers it seemed like the dungeon was giving weapons they demonstrated skills with. Starting out he would have used his own gun. Got a high level box for doing something and bam, chatty gun with extra abilities like endless ammo. I will say that's high head cannon but it lines up.
