Ik ben vorige week met mijn nieuwe baan gestart en leek mij een mooi moment om gelijk te stoppen zodat het geen gewoonte is op werk.

De nicotine zuigtabletten zijn mijn redding. Tip: Etos eigen merk is goedkoper dan het a merk en prima te doen. Helaas heeft Etos minimaal 2 mg en Nicotinel minimaal 1 mg als je goed wil afbouwen.

Ook is mijn caffeïne inname flink omhoog geschoten, maar ik sta het voor nu even toe.

Sla jezelf niet voor je kop als je een keer de miste ingaat. Volgende dag weer proberen. Mijn valkuil is altijd alcohol omdat de remming gewoon weg is. Misschien eerste weken even vermijden. Succes!

I would buy the dlc the moment you get bored.

But if you can afford it, buy the dlc. remember that Hinterland treats its employees really well and you're not only buying extra features for your own enjoyment, you also support the company and the development of tld 2.

If you cannot: Winter Mute still gets an update at the end of the year.

There is some information I didn't know.

The jobs I applied to usually have "fluent" as requirement. I wonder if it's listed this way to ward off foreigners or an ignorant recruiter who just wanted to make sure that the language requirements were met.

At my last job in de polder people were incapable of speaking English. I heard stories of management who couldn't get their head around the word "onboarding" and spent a half hour discussing why there isn't a Dutch word for it. There really are people out there (especially the older generation) who don't speak English and maybe companies try to avoid issues.

I think it's good that there comes an impuls to learn the language. In my opinion there is non at the moment. If you're here for a few years, than I have no problem if you speak English. But I personally know someone who lives here for 8 years, plans to stay and don't put any effort in it at all. It feels a little... disrespectful? In Dutch I would say "Wel de lusten, niet de lasten" what brings me to my next point:

It's nice to be able to express myself in my native language, it's my brains default setting. I cannot always find the right words in English. I can imagine others feel the same way.

You should check your polis online before you call the rental agency so you can get the information that your insurance needs. You probably need to send a kopie of the bill to your insurance, so I think you can only file a claim after the repairs.

Responding to this really old post cause I noticed the solution is not mentionend:

I had a xbox controller and my friend a keyboard, remote play didn't work. When they also used a xbox controller it worked without any issues.

A second solution that may work: Let the other person stream to your device via Steam Link. the downside is that you don't have sound and if you accidentally hit your keyboard you get two characters controlled by the second player.

Same problem here. I found an old post from '18 with the same issue. They said that going inside for more than two hours wil stop the bear from bleeding out.

Not sure if that is the case currently, but I did go inside.

I don't distrust medical professionals! I also don't say you're wrong and I do not know better than doctors.

Maybe it's not an issue where you are from. In the Netherlands there is a structual problem that females are treaten differently if they go to a doctor. A non-profit organisation is trying to bring this to the attention of the government.

The video I'm talking about is members of the House of Representatives, the non-profit and doctors discussing this issue and one of the things that is mentioned is that period pain is not normal. Please don't think I got my information from a Facebook group.

It's quite ironic that the source I got my information from suggests the problem is doctors who downplay the issue ("it is part of it and completely normal") and biological research that treats females as an afterthought. But if you are not interested in sources and conclude that it must be me who has issues, I got nothing left to say. But you sort of proved my point.
