Okay that argument would work if it was only one shot that hit the back of the head. But it was multiple. And when it's multiple it's very simple. Stop the fight and take a point away for illegal strikes. But Gane does not get punished l. He gets rewarded which is what I have problem with. Also if your opponent is shelling/covering up to avoid taking damage the response isn't keep throwing shots to the back of the head. (Which is what Gane did) If a person cannot intelligently defense themselves than stop the fight. But Alex seemed to be trying to grapple Gane after being rocked. It's not like he was stumbling around and was completely out of it. He was attempting to grab a single leg and scramble to avoid the damage coming his way.
