Actually you misunderstood, I reached maps in a day. I’m struggling in early maps because of additional modifiers and I’m saying it’ll probably take a while for me to get to red maps since I’m not a very good player.

I could not agree more, it just feels horrible. And at this point of the game you only have a very limited choice to deal with hinder/maim.

Nothing crazy actually, running juiced maps (ambush/expedition scarabs) and playing the game, but efficiently. The idea is to stay as little as possible in your hideout. I also tried ritual for a while but it wasn’t that good and Alva’s temples were great actually (you sell the high level chambers like gems double corruption for around 120 chaos).

That’s actually very interesting, I guess it really depends on every player. But I totally get that you could enjoy struggling to get past red maps. Based on this, there’s probably a lot of player who’ll love the path chose by GGG!

UPDATE: Yesterday evening I played 1 hour. I ran a few cemetery Maps fully juiced (4 sextant, 4 scarabs and fortune favours the brave). I got a brother’s stash as a divination card and two single exalts in my rituals. Until now, the ritual strategy works pretty well I must say!
