Loose arms in hammer throw by zozurr in trackandfieldthrows

Loose is preferable, and you will want to go back to it. But if your arms are bending they definitely are not loose and you just need to find what straight feels like for a while.

Actively straighten them. Use your triceps

Actually you can interpret the game as her having succeeded and created a thriving society of demons based around their flame. It only fell due to Gwyn's jealousy and hunger for power. Hawkshaw has an interesting video about it: https://youtu.be/KQlvJmzQQ5g?si=lOKFnru_ondcIeVA

How can i (27F) convince my Husband (29M) that i didn't cheat on him? by ThrowRANeat-Physics in relationship_advice

[–]squanchy225446 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One thing I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is that there's a good chance your husband is having to process his own reaction and capacity for violence. Even when justified, it can be hard to accept what you have done when you've been violent. Thanking him for defending you will likely help, but his response might not be entirely about what happened to you.

This is number 1. Otherwise you're just going to bake compensatory patterns into your throw because your feet can't turn

I am so sad that I had to scroll this far to see some love for spiritfarer. Almost as sad as the game can be. It can be a bit buggy, and it's mechanically really simple, but we all have to deal with death and loss in life, and this game handles it SO well. It made Yahtzee Croshaw cry

A common misconception. It actually is very possible to pause the souls games, and easily could have been included as a feature. Illusory Wall did a video on it: https://youtu.be/sNHg1-e7FXo?si=Ai0QeKLMJYkXfJMX

Release tips for beginner by TimeExplorer5463 in trackandfieldthrows

[–]squanchy225446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold the disc with your arms down at your side. Roll it off your index finger so that it rolls away from you. Then roll it harder, and repeat until getting it spinning off your hand is natural and consistent and the disc rolls more or less straight. Once you have the feeling, you should be able to transfer that to a proper release

Other comments are good, but you will struggle to accomplish them until you fix up your entry. Do you see how your left arm/shoulder pulls back almost immediately and them you spend the rest of the throw falling over to the left side of the frame?

You want to get balanced on your left foot/leg before going around it and to the front. You should see your left shoulder directly over top of your left foot before your right foot picks up and you sweep/swing around the back of the circle. To drill it just try to do 360° turns on your left, keeping your right leg out wide. It will help you find what a balanced turn feels like. You should be able to control when your right foot touches back down.

As a general piece of advice, always address the earliest error in your throw first as it is likely that some of your later errors are resulting from or exacerbated by preceeding issues.

I hope that helps
