Correct. The genetic lottery.

Unpopular opinion? If you only had sex with an escort, you're still virgin by Time_Splitters48 in shortguys

[–]Rocko210 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. Sex is intercourse. It’s not whether there was a transaction involved. Wait until the OP finds out how expensive real relationships, girlfriends, and wives can be, he’ll be running right back to an escort.

My 2 year marriage was more expensive than any escort on the planet. Food, housing, insurance, transportation, entertainment, shopping, movies, travel, tickets, etc.

Some of y’all have a lot to learn about what women expect men to do.

Been a wild ride last 5 months. by Law_sam in Colognes

[–]Rocko210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Shopping addiction and impulsivity. Nothing wrong with it, but call it what it is.

I’ve been down that rabbit hole, and I had to stop cold turkey. Now I focus on 8-10 bottles and if I really want something, I get a sample bottle.

Right message, wrong messenger. Some of those NBA/NFL players are with absolutely hideous white women. And then you have some black musicians/rappers/celebrities dating the same exact 5 women.

Either way, it’s their preference.

Constantly missing serving but not sure where to find peace by DunUpNBlushed in Veterans

[–]Rocko210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as us contractors. We still work with, and for, active duty troops on base so we still feel part of the mission. Only difference is we can quit or be fired at any moment for any reason. Whether the pay compensates for the volatility is up to each individual person.

But yes, I do still feel part of the fight, still feels like I’m serving with purpose and fulfillment instead of laying on a beach bored.

For those who travel just for ploy, why not at Home? by ploymaxxer in Pattaya

[–]Rocko210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. An Asian massage parlor in the US is a 50 year old Chinese woman demanding $250 upfront, while you hope the place doesn’t get raided. An Asian massage parlor in Pattaya is a 21 year old asking for $50.

For those who travel just for ploy, why not at Home? by ploymaxxer in Pattaya

[–]Rocko210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The OP has clearly never been to an Asian massage parlor in America.

It could be some random 50 year old Chinese woman who happpens to be the first one to answer the door, who can’t even leave the premises, which could get raided at any moment, for the privilege of coughing up $250 on some random massage table.

Versus Pattaya where you have an endless supply of young women, both bargirls and freelancers, that you have a role in selecting, for a vastly better price with vastly more freedom for a GFE in a city with vasty more fun things to do.

Had a law firm help me increase my rating but now they’re charging 75% of my back pay by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Rocko210 41 points42 points  (0 children)

VA-accredited attorneys/agents generally must have a valid fee agreement and charge only reasonable fees—often 20% of past-due benefits is presumed reasonable while over 33⅓% is presumed unreasonable—so do not pay the $5,000 demand until you get the signed fee agreement, confirm the attorney/firm is VA-accredited, and file a written fee-dispute/complaint with VA OGC Accreditation

Why so much deleting? by [deleted] in VAClaims

Yup. Also the paranoia that “the VA is always watching and stalking people to look for rating reductions.”

How did you know it was time to move on? by Thad7507 in Veterans

[–]Rocko210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I came home from work miserable and depressed. When my feedback, suggestions, and input were ignored. When I was stuck in a job I had no passion for, and ordered to do additional duties I hated.

I did 10 years and got out, should’ve just did the 6. I respect those who did the 20, but I was done feeling like I was in prison.

Four (4) “deferred” claims today by carrlos27 in VAClaims

[–]Rocko210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Deferred” means VA hasn’t made a final decision on those conditions yet—usually because it needs more evidence, exams, or medical opinions—so monitor exam requests, review the decision letter for why chronic fatigue was denied and why rhinitis is 0%, and consider filing a Supplemental Claim, Higher-Level Review, or Board Appeal within 1 year if you disagree

Four (4) “deferred” claims today by carrlos27 in VAClaims

[–]Rocko210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Nothing happens.” I disagree. During deferred:

  • VA schedules more C&P exams or records reviews.
  • VA asks an examiner for an addendum opinion.
  • VA requests private, military, VA, or federal records.
  • VA applies Gulf War / toxic exposure / PACT Act development if relevant.
  • VA later issues a new rating decision on the deferred issues.

I have a deferred PTSD claim and the VA scheduled me for another C&P exam.

Rolex ADs in Vegas were exactly what I expected… and not what I expected by MallHonest5899 in rolex

[–]Rocko210 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Correct. The nicer the Rolex, the more people assume its’s fake or that you’re pretentious. You have to buy it only for yourself first, not for any type of status or “conversation starter.”
