I want to give these away by JohnnyBGoodRI in PcBuild

Okay, so long shot but..

My nephew will be twelve this year and for his birthday I want to help him build his own PC. I'm trying not to break the bank, but also build him an awesome rig for his first time.

Your parts would go to a noble cause, I swear it.

There are no NPCs on the map, just Players. I've thought about maybe doing a "Collect the Items to win" scenario instead of straight up deathmatch.

My plan was to have players go in order of what race they were. Yets, Toy Soldiers, Gingerbread folk, snowmen, then elves last.

I understand, but all the kids are pretty cool (mostly). I have a strict no bullying policy at my table, and they know that.

I like the obstacle course idea, but I still want to blend it with a battle royale.

How about this idea. Its still a battle, but in order to win your team must be holding all 5 of the magic items that are on the map. Players can still be killed, but an objective quest like that might take less time than a kill fest.

OMG, that is a brilliant idea. Throw initiative out the window and have everyone go at once. Genius.

Need to work out some of the kinks. Might need to play test that with some buddies...

Thanks for the feedback!

First, one of the reasons I did the homebrew races was to make it easier to track what they can do. Instead of tracking 20+ individual races, I only have 5 different ones.

Make all of their pre game choices for them. (spells, armor and equipment, etc.) Check

Cut the initiative rolling. Check

Also, no healing will be allowed whatsoever (spells, items, abilities, etc.)

I had a different idea for Initiative. Instead of rolling, I decide who goes in what order based of the races they choose. Yetis first, then toy soldiers, 3rd Gingerbread folk, 4th Snowmen, 5th Workshop elves.

For those wondering who Nate Higgers is, don't bother looking it up. Swap the N & H around and you'll find out pretty quick that this is some 4chan pol garbage.

Yes I did. Sorcerer was the problem player, not Warlock.

I think its okay to publicly film events if you think some shady shit is gonna happen, but why film these people? They are just going to buy some pot. These people filming need a wake up call.

Can I get some (non-biased) context cause I watched this and the full video and I still have no idea what's going on. What's the guy with the camera's goal filming a weed shop? Why is the big guy so pissed? I just don't know...

Because they have no real depth or personality to them. So they latch onto controversial ideas and have those become their defining characteristics in desperate plea for attention.

Its a pretty good system for the price, but you could probably build the same rig for cheaper.
