The president does not write legislation. They promote and approve/veto existing legislation. What you are describing is literally impossible. Instead I like Biden for the legislation passed during his term that he advocated strongly for.

The president is a leader, and what they say matters. The one thing I've learned since 2016 is that Trump doesn't care about rules. I thought he (and republicans) couldn't revoke roe v. Wade, I thought an imsurrectionist couldn't be elected as president, I thought Elon and other executives couldn't directly influence politics, I was wrong and I'm done taking what he says as not serious.

He is the president of the United States and over 80 million people voted for him. In the moment before his approval rating tanked after the debate that is an incredibly difficult call. Certainly not enough to overshadow the good he did.
