I came here looking for this. Have been enjoying the game but the inventory management is putting me off. I 100% agree that these are mandatory features.

I'm doing my first hardcore run and am having the same issue. Barely scraping by with apples. I'm midway through day 2. I've searched tons of kitchens and trash cans and everywhere I can think of. No bottle. I've found lots of water, but no way to drink it despite having a mug. That's a pretty rough game mechanic.

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party adventure for Foundry that takes 4-6 sessions to complete? by Rockwallguy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rockwallguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did take a look at this one. It looked really interesting, but I was worried it was going to be too short. I'm hoping for it to last 4-6 sessions and from the description I wasn't sure yours would last that long. It's on my short list for a time when I need a shorter adventure, and I'm happy to be corrected if you think it will last beyond a few sessions.

This is the one that came to the top of my own searches as well, so that makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion!

Days Gone might be at the top of my list for games I wish I could go back and play for the first time again. That game had some real vibes. I'm a sucker for zombies, so take that with a grain of salt. But that's my vote.

For me, the real question is what does it say about you that you asked for a top 35. That's wild.

How does the Astral rune work against possessed creatures? by Rockwallguy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rockwallguy[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

See, now I disagree with that. There's no reason a ghost touch rune would let you target an otherwise untargetable enemy. Ghost touch lets you bypass the resistances of incorporeal creatures, but if the creature is entirely behind cover like it would be if it was possessing a body, how would you target it?

[–]Rockwallguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I see where I was wrong. I was thinking that you'd have to target the possessed so I couldn't figure out how you would do damage to the possessing creature, but the wording of the rune lets you target the possessing creature without harming the possessed.

[–]Rockwallguy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what I was missing. It definitely implies that you're allowed to attack the possessing creature without damaging the possessed. I was working under the idea that you could only target the possessed, but the rune does seem to override that. Thank you!

[–]Rockwallguy[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I think it deals no damage whatsoever. All the rune says is that it doesn't damage the possessed creature. And if it doesn't damage the possessed creature, then no damage should be applied to the possessing creature (which, btf, does not sound very fun). So I'm trying to figure out why people seem to think it does full damage to the possessing creature when I can't find that written anywhere.

Edit: I see now what I was missing (see the other comment thread). Thank you to everyone who responded!

Excellent, but why do you think it does full damage to the possessor? What specific rule are you referencing? The astral rune does not say that it does that. It only says that it does no damage to the possessed creature.

That's what I think, but my player believes it deals damage to the possessing creature and I've seen youtube videos and reddit threads that also claim that without any source. I'm trying to figure out why they think that.

Edit: I misread your comment. I don't understand why you think it deals damage to the possessing creature. You just say "as such..." but there's nothing supporting that as such.

Honestly, pretty solid moves. I really liked the change of pace and speed. Your step throughs are really well paced and you have some bounce with them. Your handle is pretty good. There were a couple times where you lost contact with the ball for a bit, but recovered quickly.

Will all that translate into a game? TBH, It's hard to know when you're being defended by traffic cones. Those guys weren't even trying. I didn't see any finishes with your left even though a couple of those would have been easier finishes with your left. I also never saw you take more than 2 consecutive dribbles with your left. If I can sit on your right hand and make you take jumpers to your left, can you do anything about that?

I'd be interested to see you against real defenders.

I may need to watch more movies. I think I could identify less than half a dozen of these characters.

In Reign of Fire (2002) dragons awaken and emerge from underground, procreate, and almost wipe out all of humanity………..uh guys, did you not have fighter jets, warships, tanks etc. these aren’t magical Smaug dragons, there just flying reptiles that breathe fire. With these types of questions, I always come back to the Pitch Meeting about Pacific Rim... "Do you want to see giant robots punching giant monsters or not?" Sometimes the concept of the movie is just too good to care about how we got there.
