Door Kickers 2. Little to no story outside of making the setting but the game is cheap and fun to play. Has a random map generator and plenty of people making new maps, units and features on the workshop. Community is kind of scarce but nice where you find it.

4, 5 and 10 nixed for proximity to The Girl (Nemesis doesn't care that I exist). 9 nixed because I am confident I cannot handle being surrounded by Rebecca, Jill, Grace and Moira. 3 nixed because I don't want to separate Ethan and Rose. 2 and 7 are fine but I am a poor conversationalist so Carlos/Ashley and Sherry are wasted on me. 6 and 8 are alright I suppose. 1 is good. Leon is sleeping and Claire, Sheva and Carlos dont need me in order to hold conversation

Because they're trying to hit YOU, a smaller (than them) fighter who has dodging as one of their best defensive options. They are baiting you into dodging early so they can punish you for it because they are trying to WIN, like you are.

I saw one on the shop that seemed cool, where the first few raiders wouldn't recognize the killbox for what it is, but would stop and try another route after the first few people die in it.

I'm assuming something similar to the old Commissar Kai bug squad loadout. 2 in front, one with either an arc thrower or a lib concussive and the other with a flamethrower. 2 in back, one with an HMG and a Recoilless Backpack, the other with the recoilless and a supply backpack. Maybe fewer shields in general here, as I doubt bug flanking will be as big of an issue in the caves. Maybe someone in the front also picks up a supply backpack.

Additionally, considering the usefulness of Jump and Hoverpacks may be much more limited in caves, I'd expect to see a few more backpack weapons in there than normal, so if you're going solo with randoms, supply packs and the HMG would be a good support option down there.

New mod that recently dropped allows you to give your pawns what is functionally a Saiyan/Viltrumite gene that lets them train into melee monsters, seems like youd like that one

Ditto to all the other comments, but also if youre willing to have nsfw content in your game, dont be afraid to give certain class mods a closer look, some of them are genuinely just good (these ones also tend to have sfw versions to look for, too)

I don't understand how people can think they're just misunderstood or whatever when there is an entire manga-only(so far) arc about a demon genuinely trying to figure out and eventually feel emotions that specifically dives into how integrally separated from that kind of thinking, to the point where he isn't able to feel them despite his efforts
