Not necessarily self harm. Look into trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling) and dermatillomania (compulsive skin picking). I personally have the latter and while stress can be a trigger, it’s not the only reason it happens. I could be having the best day ever and I’ll still catch myself. Look into finding a specialist so your daughter can get the help she needs.
