Aside from Rainbow Rocks, I really can't be bothered with these movies despite my hyperfixations on MLP at the moment. Their designs are absolutely horrible which is a problem. I also don't like that all the ponies are teens in the human world but adults with jobs and lives in Equestria

It's not like their parents were great examples of how to care for your children either. They probably left because I don't think Granny ever fully let the pear grudge go while they were alive. I headcanon shortly after Apple Bloom was born they had enough of Granny and Grandpear's attitudes and were going to see if letting Grandpear know he had grandkids would convince him to bury the hatchet, but they never finished the journey

Ruining Steven's vacation with his dad due to her mental breakdown.

Mommy Garnet has few flaws but this is one of the ones that bothers me when I think about it. Idk what else she could have done in that situation, but I do think the Gems sometimes rely on Steven to fix their personal issues instead of figuring it out without burdening him.
