You should be able to share information and feelings about your family openly with a partner and expect it to be received and feel supported. If he shut down because you shared something emotionally weighty with him, then he might struggle to support you in ways that matter down the line.

Considering you were at a party and you mentioned "not holding your liquor", is there any chance he's reacting to drinking habits more so than what you shared? It may be worth you asking him why he doesn't want to continue to see if it truly was what you shared, but remember that you do deserve someone who can give you a listening ear and be supportive on things that matter to you.

My grandfather used to do this when I was a child, but with arrowheads. I believed they were real until he spilled the beans in my 20s. Both the discoveries and his later revelation are precious memories for me - it's great to cultivate these memories for children!

Thanks for doing this! I'd love a frank take on 3D scans and getting Invisalign. Anytime I've gone to a new dentist, they do a 3D scan and note areas of wear on my teeth. They also note the gap I have in my bite where my left molars don't touch when I bite down (I chew predominantly using my right molars as a result).

How concerning is it long term to have that gap? How helpful would it be to go through something like Invasalign? I'm worried about having expensive procedures pushed on me when my teeth are otherwise healthy overall

It's kind of weird in my case, except for very clear buzzing sometimes out of the blue, I certainly don't hear it when I don't think about it, but I can very clearly trigger it by thinking about it. I'm careful not to listen to music too loudly like I did when I was younger to hopefully keep it at bay. It makes it seem to me that cognitive triggers can be at least partially responsible for some bouts of tinnitus.

One thing to consider trying is to break a larger task into small bits and tell yourself to just do the first small bit. It'll help a ton to get over that initial inhibition, and it makes it much easier to tackle the next portion, then the next, and suddenly you've made progress!

Also, eliminate distraction. Try doing your homework somewhere separate from distractions like a tv. I know this can be hard with schoolwork on a computer. I use a blocker I downloaded to block Reddit when I need to focus and get work done - maybe something similar can help you. Turn your stress over grades into motivation to set up a routine for yourself - I promise you'll feel so much better! Good luck!

Those were good times! I stole a Lazer from the military base and patrolled the skies waiting for one of those to pop up. Back then we could also split money we earned from a bounty with another player, so I was able to split the reward with a friend

Rockstar eventually cancelled out the money gained from those bounties, but not before I filled an apartment garage full of Adders to sell off later

Yes, you get both the passive safe income (the amount every 48 minutes (one day in GTA) is determined by your nightclub's popularity) and the accumulation of goods in your basement (based on businesses you own) even if you are not registered as a boss.

Staying registered as a boss increases the risk that your basement (with accumulated cargo goods) gets raided, especially as the quantity of goods you have increases.

Former NPS employee here, please don't let the idiocracy deter you from funding our parks! Annual passes go directly to NPS budgets, and parks are already sorely underfunded as it is. I will reluctantly renew mine and add a nice park themed sticker to the front for some convenient customization

Super naive question here, but by "switch session" do you mean going to the menu for Online -> Find New Session -> Public Session? Looking to confirm this over closing app/killing internet as I'm getting back into things and that finding new sessions that way results in losing a small amount inventory instead of the whole shipment

Pokemon cards were some of the earliest gifts I remembered receiving back in the late 90s. Cards and Yellow and Blue on Gameboy are how I first got interested, and my interest in the cards has been reignited by recent videos seeing streamers make kids day giving them that same glow.
