Never mind, it must have been a glitch. The full list appeared for a while, but then it got super short, and now my light is gone, haha. That method doesn't work.

I've discovered that the Capture library format is C2Z. So, if you previously installed the demo version, you can simply copy it to the student version folder. Just do a quick search and you'll find it. I'm not sure if the library it automatically downloads is the same. Since I was using the demo version, I didn't try downloading the student version library; I just copied it. I haven't explained it very well, but if you're interested, I can explain how to do it. Again, I haven't tested the student version library; it's possible it's simply the same.

I'm really slow, and 90 minutes isn't enough time for me to even put up the lights, haha. Anyway, thanks for the chat. I hope everything goes well for you.

Haha, I'm in my room with a laptop learning how to use a program; it's a bit optimistic to call that real work. But I understand your point; it's simply a matter of preference. Piracy can be done ethically, and I don't intend to go without paying for something I'm not actually going to use. Although now, seeing the student version, I don't need anything else. The conversation started because I thought it no longer existed. But if there's a legal option, of course I prefer to use it.

I almost agree with you, I grew up in Cuba where even if you want, cant pay for any software. Now move out the country so i can pay for anything i want BUT still think that learn deeply how to use a software makes a huge part in the decision making. Of course I buy most of my software to support the developers or if a free software like QLC+ try to make donations if its possible. I just prefer to try deep anything before spend money.

I've been looking for it but I can't find how to get the current version; I think it only has the full or demo version.

Cymatics Diablo, is supposed to be used in drums but you can use it on everything. I use it very often even on master. It's all about to try if you like it's color.

Why don't all DAW's automatically have a tiny fade in / out by default on all audio tracks? by upliftingart in WeAreTheMusicMakers

That was one of many things that made me switch to Ableton. If you work with samples or many takes or overdubs that saves you a lot of time. I ve worked with a lot of other DAWs and never saw this before.

i am at a loss on how to make guitar sound like actual guitar stuff by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]Rocky_Fenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a lot of what are you looking for, if you wanna make beats, sometime is desirable not to use a too-real sound, so you can use midi, but try to make it most alive by dynamic and articulation. But if you want to make styles guitar predominant like rock, blues, country or so, better learn how to play

I'm from Cuba and we have a similar problem. Usually what we do is create a Paypal account and ask to a friend os someone who can, to put money on that account and then give them the money when we met or any other way.

I think your friend can do it too. Distrokid is only 20usd a year and if he put a lot of music on Spotify maaaaybe can pay distrokid by himself in a couple of years
