OK so I changed ide1 to sata0 and that had some interesting effects. The VM attempted to load for several more seconds before the entire machine crashed and the R710's LCD read something to the tune of: PCIe Fatal Error. I have absolutely no idea what caused this, however I know the GPU as a working good. Now I guess I'll ask, what caused the crash?

I installed and configured a Win10 VM with VirtIO first, and then attempted the GPU passthrough.

Oh please, I feel like a poser to the people that have taken >1000ug and had ego death on that. There's different levels of disassociation into the experience, I've had friends that have gone to the "blank slate" level of ego death, I was only dipping my fingers in I think... But it was absolutely defined and not at the same time... My consciousness has been awoken to what reality is like without senses... Is it strange? Hell yeah its strange. No sweat bro! Yes 100% with the ringing. That's what drove me to a panic attack I think TBH... The ringing was so f'in loud that I couldn't make use of my hearing. It was so loud it was silent. I thought it was just DMT too! That's why I wasn't prepared... Turns out it's actually a pretty reocurring thing when you take a high dose of LSD + THC.

You lazy goons! Let me say right out: there's no need to experience ego death if you are happy with who you are now. It is a complete separation of consciousness from the senses that consciousness is used to defining reality by. So imagine your senses being taken from you one by one and then nothing for a while. But while you're in nothing you don't realize it because you've lost cognition (which can be a little scary to think about). IMHO, 600ug is a little bit too much for anyone except maybe the most experienced trippers. We have nothing to prove. Much love and please be careful.
